One Month Old 6/23/07

Jackson turned one month old over the weekend. It amazing to see how much he has grown. I'm copying an idea from another Blog to chart his growth. Check back every month to see how big Jackson is compared to his big stuffed elephant.

Vistors

Jackson had lots of visitors in the past few weeks:

He met his great auntie Kate, who Jackson loved taking naps with.

Jackson met my cousin Joseph from Indiana.

He also met our friends Brittany & Travis (and family) from Redmond.

After all those visitors Jackson was pretty tired out.

Jimmer's Knitwear

I have finally finished Jimmer's sweater I started for him forever ago. If you are wondering who Jimmer is, that is the nick name that has grown on the baby. (Read below to see how Jimmer originated.)




How Jimmer originated: Brian a guy I work with convincingly told my friend, Cecily, that we were naming the baby Jimmer. That Jimmer was a family name that we were using. Cecily believed Brian's tale and was at first hurt that I would share the name with Brian and not her.....but then it dawned on her that we weren't sharing the name because it was so awful, and she was going to have to tell me that naming our baby Jimmer would cause endless playground torture.
