My First "Haw-key" Game

We took Jackson to his first hockey game over the weekend. "Tom-A-Hawk" is Jackson's new friend!

Jackson went for a swim in Grandma and Grandpa's hot tub. He loves the water and making lots of big splashes!

My First Christmas

We spent Christmas morning at our house. Jackson was spoiled by Grandparents, Aunties and of course Mom & Dad. Jackson gave a good attempt to each present by sucking his way through the wrapping paper.

Month Seven

Jackson turned seven months on just before Christmas on December 23rd.

Here he is officially taller than his elephant.

Santa I have been good this year!

Santa visited Pacific University, so Jackson got to tell him what he wanted to Christmas this year. Jackson is pretty sure he is on the nice list.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

We were surprised by a dusting of snow at our house the other night. Jackson wanted to go out and toss around a few snowballs.

My First Thanksgiving

Jackson's first Thanksgiving we spent over on the coast at my Uncle Jim's house. All the guests included : Uncle Jim, Suzie, Cousin Jessie, Cousin Jimmy, Great Grandma and Grandpa Mahannah, Uncle Tim, Sherrie, Grandma and Grandpa Hepler, Doug, Jackson and I. It was a fun group. Uncle Jim deep fried the Turkey, which turned out very tasty.

6 months and getting Bigger

Jackson is getting so big, we can hardly believe it. We will put him to bed in a sleeper and by morning it will be to small for him. Jackson's legs are always moving, so we know when he is to the walking stage he will be into everything.

The Graduate

On Thursday Jackson graduated from Mom's Group. You are only able to attend until your baby is 6 months old. Jackson and I really enjoyed the group, we met lots of great moms and kiddos. It was a bittersweet day. By Jackson and I moving on, make room for more new mommies to get the support they need, but we also will miss going every week. I learned so much! The facilitator, Mary, is a wonderful lady, full of wisdom and encouragement when you need it the most. It was a weird feeling being the oldest in the group as it seemed like just yesterday we made it there for the first time (and what a job that was, just getting out of the house). Jackson sizing up the six month olds who looked so big, and their mommies that seemed to have it all together, full of great advice. So yesterday Jackson was the big six month old and I was the mommy supposed to be full of advice :) I will recommend this group for any new mom as it was my sanity!!!!
