Let It Snow

The boys resting up to play in the snow.

Even after a nap, getting dressed in snow clothes tires Jackson out.

But our little snowman had lots of fun playing in the winter wonderland.

While Jackson & Daddy played in the snow, the girls made Christmas cookies. Jackson had worked up an appetite and had to try them out.

Thanksgiving

Okay this post is overdue but better late than never. I didn't get very many good Thanksgivingish pictures but here are a few of Jackson playing with his cousin Jaren. It was the first time they have gotten together and Jackson has been old enough to play back.

Boys Day

Jackson got to spend the day with Daddy at OMSI. They saw Turtles,

...pretended to be Eagles...

...visited the fish...

...and pretended to be chipmunks.

Halloween Week

First, Jackson got to dress up with all his friends at playgroup. This year there was (Left to Right): Abby (Fairy from Sesame Street), a Frog, a Ladybug, 2 Lions, a Dragon and an Owl. They were all super cute.

Here is a flashback from last year....

Next, Jackson got to go to work with Dad for a Halloween Party. Here he is discussing Trick or Treating strategy with Bella.

Then, we carved some pumpkins. Jackson really noticed the smell of the pumpkin, the first thing he did after I cut off the top was smell the inside.

We then got ready for some trick or treating. Jackson was on a sugar high from having a sucker, so getting him in his costume was a challenge.

Last but not least he got to run off his sugar high. Jackson caught on to trick or treating pretty quick. It was a little hard for him to switch from trick or treating, to handing out candy at our door.

Forest Grove's Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival

We attended the chalk art festival yesterday, to cheer on our friend Cecily who was a featured artist at the event. Cecily's chalk art was inspired by a painting her Grandma had done. It turned out beautifully.

This chalk art was done by Danny. His family owns a chinese food place here in town. You can see what his inspiration was. Man I wish I could draw like this!
