Snips, Snails and Puppy Dog Tails

Momma washing my muddy hands in a mud puddle.
Momma called this our nature walk at Auntie Kathy's house, but I think it was more of a
mud-puddle-splashing walk.

We found this weird looking snake/worm thing in one of the puddles.

I was having lots of fun throwing rocks into the puddles. Put this time the rock didn't make it into the puddle. I must have dropped the rock during my wind up.

New Year's brought bannana splits

Due to alot of events happening while we were visiting the Mahannah Family, New Years Eve ended up being a time to catch up on sleep instead of staying up and celebrating. This brought some disappointment from my cousin Carl visiting from Wisconsin. So I promised that New Years Day we would celebrate with Bannana Splits. Carl came with me to the grocery store and was able to pick out all his favorite Bannana Split fixings.
Here is Carl enjoying his sweet treat. Christine all smiles with her split.

Grandma enjoying her treat.
Grandpa, wondering if he can have seconds.

Since I didn't get a picture of Jackson eating his bannana split I had to throw this one in.

Road Trip With Momma

It was a long drive but Momma brought Elmo on her IPod so time past a little quicker.
We saw big furry dogs in the back on cars.....
and lots of sheep. When we arrived I got to eat dinner with Mommy's cousin Emily. (Yes, Mommy's cousin)

Santa came to our house...

...and brought me a table & chairs,

pots & pans to use in...

a red retro kitchen. Grandpa & Daddy put it together while I napped.

Grandma & Grandpa got me this snuggly bear rug.

Auntie Sharoni got me some cool shirts. She knows me well.

I had lots of fun with the tool bench that Grammy got me. Grammy also got me a pass to the zoo, which means we can go check on the new baby elephant whenever Mommy will take me.

Christmas Eve Adventures

Grandma & Grandpa had Christmas Eve dinner at their house. Since they had quite a bit more snow than us we decided to have Grandpa come pick us up on in his truck. The drive was beautiful with the snow flocked trees, but this also caused concern as many trees were falling with the weight of the snow.

We made it safe but Grandma & Grandpa lost power. Luckily Grandma was prepared and had all the yummy food cooked already. We had Christmas Eve dinner, presents and BINGO by candlelight. All the kids had lots of fun opening presents, playing in the snow, using flashlights and telling ghost stories.
Jackson got a really neat train set & back pack from Great Grandma.

Grandma & Grandpa got Jackson a barking dog puppet.

Snow Days

December 17th

December 19th

Jackson's first snowman. The poor snowman's nose ended up being Jackson's snack.

December 20th

We tried to find a store that still had sleds but everyone was sold out. We broke out the snow board for Jackson to slide around on. Our nice neighbors let us borrow one of their sleds and we headed to the school nearby for some night sledding. We had a blast.

Jackson's first snow angel.

Our Silly Boy

Let It Snow

The boys resting up to play in the snow.

Even after a nap, getting dressed in snow clothes tires Jackson out.

But our little snowman had lots of fun playing in the winter wonderland.

While Jackson & Daddy played in the snow, the girls made Christmas cookies. Jackson had worked up an appetite and had to try them out.

Thanksgiving

Okay this post is overdue but better late than never. I didn't get very many good Thanksgivingish pictures but here are a few of Jackson playing with his cousin Jaren. It was the first time they have gotten together and Jackson has been old enough to play back.
