Chicken Update

As you can see Jackson loves his new pets...

Many have been asking what we ended up naming the chickens; introducing....(From Left to Right) Doug, This One, Shirley, That One, Chicken, Laverne, and Jackson

When we were thinking of getting chickens we were only going to get 3. So we asked Jackson what he wanted to name them and he said "This One, That One, and Chicken". Since we ended up getting five Doug & I named the two Rhode Island Reds Laverne & Shirley.

First Snowcone

Jackson's new favorite sayings:
"Whatcha doin' Momma?"
Watcha doin' Daddy?"
"Mommy, What's that noise?"
He also loves telling us what he likes, car trips are now filled with I likes
(I like trucks, I like cows, I like airplanes, I like mixer trucks, I like birds) and I think it is safe to say that snow cones have been added to this list.

Beach Trip

First we found a kite (and a chair) being overtaken by the waves. After 45 minutes of untangeling Jackson had his first kite.
Then we chased some Seagulls with big pieces of driftwood.

Jackson thought he was going to the beach to get away from the Momarazzi.

Building sandcastles...

King of the sandcastle.

"It's my sandcastle, I can cry if I want to."
We had a short but fun beach overnighter. As we were packing up to leave Jackson curled up with Pillow & Georgie and past out.
Thank you Grammie for allowing us to use your bonus time!

Pants are tricky

The last few months Jackson has been trying to dress himself. It has been pretty funny to watch the mini skirts he makes out of his shorts, by putting both legs in one hole.
Which also makes a cute tail in the back.

The Farm

This summer we bought a CSA (Harvest Basket) from a local farm and are splitting it with another family. They had an open farm day at the beginning of the summer to kick off the harvest season. Jackson enjoyed experienceing the farm life and as you can see he takes if very seriously.
