Forever in my heart - Grandpa, Ray Wellington Mahannah
The worlds best Grandpa was laid to rest yesterday, at a beautiful service on a hillside in Grants Pass. He will forever be in our hearts and his impact on this world was huge. Grandpa touched so many people's lives. You always new your had Grandpa's support and unconditional love.
My favorite memories of him are: him teaching me to shoot the BB gun and calling me Annie Oakley, whisker burns, hiding all of his shoes during a visit and him calling me later to figure out where they all were, knee-monia and toe-burculosis during tickling matches and hearing about his many adventures.
I'm so glad my kids got to meet their Great Grandpa and pictures will always keep his memory alive for them.
Grandpa, you will be missed and I love you!

New Post
So I know everyone that reads this blog is probably eagerly awaiting new pictures of the boys....but I have misplaced my USB cord to download pictures. I'm sure it will turn up one of these days. Until then here is a list of things we have been up to:
1. Morgan is almost 4 months old (man time flys)
2. Jackson started pre-school. Two days a week.
3. We have a new addition to the family (besides Morgan). A new kitty named Boots.
4. Boots may have been taken from his mother too early; he is fascinated with bottles of milk, pacifiers, and sippy cups filled with milk.
5. Dimple smiles make the 3am wake up call a lot more tolerable.
6. A kitten that steals pacifiers makes the 3am wake up call a lot LESS tolerable.
7. Reward charts really do work for helping keep a pre-schooler stay in bed at night.
8. When trying to teach Jackson about Mother Nature, he some how thinks Mother Nature is our crazy neighbor lady. Now every time she is outside, he wants to tell Mother Nature "Hi".
9. Summer was way too short this year!

April Showers Bring May....Babies

May 23rd Jackson turned three. So hard to believe it had been three years since we brought that little guy home from the hospital. We celebrated in traditional Birthday BBQ style with lots of friends and family. His theme this year was Fire Trucks and it was complete with a Fire Truck Pinata and Fire Truck candles.
And then not three days after Jackson's big day his brother made a surprise entrance to the world. 2am on May 26th my water broke (4 weeks early). So we also celebrated the arrival of Morgan Ray at 5:57pm on May 26th.
