More Swim Lessons

Jackson started a new session of swim lessons, this time with Daddy. It is amazing to see how much he has changed since the last time ....

First Snowcone

Jackson's new favorite sayings:
"Whatcha doin' Momma?"
Watcha doin' Daddy?"
"Mommy, What's that noise?"
He also loves telling us what he likes, car trips are now filled with I likes
(I like trucks, I like cows, I like airplanes, I like mixer trucks, I like birds) and I think it is safe to say that snow cones have been added to this list.

Beach Trip

First we found a kite (and a chair) being overtaken by the waves. After 45 minutes of untangeling Jackson had his first kite.
Then we chased some Seagulls with big pieces of driftwood.

Jackson thought he was going to the beach to get away from the Momarazzi.

Building sandcastles...

King of the sandcastle.

"It's my sandcastle, I can cry if I want to."
We had a short but fun beach overnighter. As we were packing up to leave Jackson curled up with Pillow & Georgie and past out.
Thank you Grammie for allowing us to use your bonus time!

Pants are tricky

The last few months Jackson has been trying to dress himself. It has been pretty funny to watch the mini skirts he makes out of his shorts, by putting both legs in one hole.
Which also makes a cute tail in the back.

The Farm

This summer we bought a CSA (Harvest Basket) from a local farm and are splitting it with another family. They had an open farm day at the beginning of the summer to kick off the harvest season. Jackson enjoyed experienceing the farm life and as you can see he takes if very seriously.

Ships

We went down to the waterfront today with Jackson's buddy William to check out the ships. Unfortunatly they all weren't in yet, but that didn't stop the fun. The boys had a great time riding the MAX train and we got to see the Sheriff Dive Team confirming it was safe for the ships to dock.

Can't take the heat....

It's only June and Jackson is already hoping for snow.

Hitchhiker

Jackson got a backpack for his birthday and he wanted to give George a piggy-back ride.

All Boy

We have been very lucky to inherit many backyard toys from our neighbor who's son has outgrown them. So this is Jackson playing in his new-to-him sandbox (complete with lid; we won't have to worry about kitty treasures) and trucks.
Jackson can spend hours in the sandbox. Grandma & Grandpa got him a real set of yard tools so the shovel, hoe and rake are a big hit as well. Thanks to the sandbox we may now have some vegetables in the garden :)
