Success!

This sleeping angel is doing awesome, without diapers! We are tackling naps without diapers now. This is the first one.

We did two outings so far and both times, he has told me "mom, I have to go potty." We are two days accident free....whoot, whoot!

Can't believe we are almost a diaper free family again.

Day 5

We have progress. All three times this morning, Morgan has run to the bathroom to go potty. Yippee! Now we need to get adventurous and try an outing.

Potty Training Day 2

Call me crazy, but at this age for Jackson, he was potty trained in a week. So I am attempting with Morgan. Since it is Christmas break we don't have to drive to school everyday which cuts down on car seat accidents. Yesterday was day one and I was ready to give up. Today is going much better. We are on a 15 min cycle. Try to go potty, flush, wash hands, get an M&M (if we go), set timer for 15 min, and get drinks of water. Jackson has been a huge help today, every time we go in to try, he comes too and goes encouraging Morgan all the way.
We will see what day three brings undies or diapers.

Track Star

We recently learned about a track meet our town puts on for all ages during the summer. So last night we checked it out. Jackson was so excited!

Jackson stretching.

Throwing shot put.

I love this action picture of the ball up in the air.

Jackson getting ready for long jump....

...and hurdles. They had these cute hurdles that were just his size.

50 meter dash.

Proud boy with all his ribbons.

Morgan's event was the bear crawl with pizza crust in his mouth. He has it mastered!

Curb Appeal

We recently finished a much needed curb appeal project.

Thanks to the motivation from our home owners insurance, we have a freshly painted house and new handrails. We also have been wanting to replace the iron columns for wood so we decided to get it all done at once. I think picking a house color is one of the most difficult decisions a couple must decide on in their lives (closely behind should we have children). We are very happy with what we finally picked and love driving up to our new house.

We love the way the new windows look on the top floor. So now we are anxious to replace the downstairs windows.

Releasing of the Butterflies

Jackson got a butterfly garden for his birthday. It came with live caterpillars that we watched turn in to chrysalides then hatch into butterflies. Then here we got to release the butterflies so they could enjoy the garden.

Here Morgan is practicing his walking. He really likes pushing Jackson around.

Morgan is our climber

Nothing stops this kid from getting something he wants.
